تدور احداث القصه في مدينه صاخبه و تنبض بالحياه مع فتى يجري ل جدته ليطلب منها ان تروي قصته المفضله فتاه القمر وهي اسطوره تناقلتها الاجيال عن فتاه ذات شعر فضي كلون القمر و بشره بيضاء ك لون الثلج واكثر ما يميزها عيناها فكل واحده بلون احدها بلون ازرق سماوي كلون السماء الصافيه والأخرى بلون بنفسجي كلون الازهار الجميله ذهب الفتى ل جدته وهو يقول جدتي جدتي اخبريني قصه فتاه القمر. الجده الم تمل منها يا هاكو. هاكو لا فأنا احبها كثيرا. الجده حسنا يا حفيدي كان هناك فتاه صغيره تدعى سايوري كانت فتاه طيبه وبريئه تحب مساعده الغير ودائما تكون نشيطه و مفعمه بالحيويه وكان كل من في قريتها يحبها لكن في احد الايام اتى رجال مسلحون و دمرو القريه وكانو متجهين لقتل سايوري و والديها لكن ضهر طيف فتاه جميله ودخل جسم سايوري واعطاها القوه لحمايه القريه و اعادت بنائها وكان الكل سعيد وممتن لما تبذله من جهد. هاكو اتمنى لو كانت هذه الفتاة حقيقيه. الجده انها مجرد اسطوره يا صغيري. كان هاكو يأتي لجدته ل يسمع القصه كل شهر وعندما بلغ 18 عشر من عمره كان قد اتى ليسمع القصه من جدته وكان الثلج يتساقط في ذلك اليوم فأصيبت جدته بالزكام ولم تستطع ان ترويها له شعر هاكو بالحزن وصعد للسطح ورغم ان الثلج كان يتساقط طول اليوم الا انه توقف عندما صعد هاكو للسطح.
