About this app

This webapp makes searching in Sprotin’s dictionaries a game. If you use a smart phone or tablet, it is far easier to use this webapp than a conventional browser.

The webapp contains 13 dictionaries—Faroese to a variety of languages. The popular functions of the online dictionary are also found in the webapp, including charts of inflected Faroese forms, customisable lists of favourite words, linking to social media, and corresponding with the dictionary editors.

Subscribers to the dictionaries can use the app for free. You can purchase a dictionary subscription on sprotin.fo for DKK 39,- per month.
