Good for practice reading, some of it is quite accessible for beginner readers. Some ideas for improvement: english translations at the end of the text. After clicking a word I would like the app to go back to the article i was reading rather than home. Perhaps jlpt level. Vocab list that I've picked myself. Audio bar to go down as your scroll: this is so I can pause the audio and stay where i am in the text.

Bare bones. There are many words that will only or usually be written in kana, but you do not allow those to be looked up. A person learning will not always know when one word starts or ends since there are generally no spaces in Japanese. At one point a kana could be the ending to a kanji, it could be it's own word or even just a particle. Having everything clickable would make this app a LOT better. Also add a search function for stories and for N levels.
