About this app

Dukas are at the heart of our neighborhoods and we all have vivid memories of when a quick trip to your local duka saved the day! We have come to rely on our local duka for that soda kubwa to keep the party going or the absolutely necessary Rocyo to make the Sukuma wiki come to life!

For many duka owners, meeting the daily necessities of their customers means that items run out quickly. Several times a week, the duka owner has to make orders from wholesalers to replenish stock. Unfortunately for many duka owners, this requires closing the duka in order to go pick up the goods from wholesales. With several trips a week, the loss of business from closing the shop quickly adds up.

At dukapepe, we are inspired by the connection that these duka owners have to our neighborhoods and felt challenged to help duka owners take their business to the next level. We applied our expertise to create a platform whose mission is to transform the business of these duka owners so they can better serve our neighborhoods. With a single tap on the app, a duka owner can place an order to replenish their stock without ever having to close the duka.
