For the most part i really like this app...except that some of the questions require one to make some assumptions before one can figure it out-not a big deal, i can do that. However, on at least one problem there is an incorrect solution-or the problem is written incorrectly. In Test 1: Number Line (i think thats what its called) problem 3/10 asks what the highest value of m can be of 7^m (7 to the power of m) to still divide 21 completely. Seeing as 7^2 equals 49 & 7^3 equals 343 (neither of which will divide into 21 nor are divisible by 21) I figured they were looking for 7^1 which equals 7...which can divide 21 completely. The solution says its 3 because 7 goes into 21 three times. 7^3 means 7x7x7 NOT 7+7+7!!!! In fact the solution says In 21 ! there are three 7. But thats not what the question is asking. Im assuming instead of 7^m they meant to write 7m which would mean 7 times m...which would indeed be 3 if 7m=21. This is not a useful nor logical assumption to have to make. Trying to decide when x^y is supposed to mean xy and vice versa isnt going to help anyone prepare for an actual test and will instead teach them to do these sorts of problems incorrectly when they do take the test. There is a big difference between 7^3 and 7x3...322 numbers worth of difference to be exact =) Please fix problem Test 1: 3/10 & proof read the rest of em...an app like this is only as useful as it is accurate.
