This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing eSWAR Miraj Tanpura on PC Windows and Mac.

Miraj Tanpura

Tanpura is a divine instrument in south India (Carnatic music). Tanpuras are made from the bark of Jackfruit tree & the rest of the country (Hindustani Music) makes from the shell of bottle gourd. Sounds produced by such wooden instruments cannot be replaced by any technology intervention. Over time, the art of making Tanpura is dying and in the current scenario the learners are not trained in tuning Tanpura which is a very complicated and a passionate time consuming art.
 
Post the introduction of crystal based electronic Tanpuras where the sounds were system generated, the authenticity of the sounds has gotten detoriated and Tanpura has gotten to an extent of meager formality. The thought behind creating Tanpura Live is to restore the authenticity of the live Tanpura sounds.
 
The route to the creation was to record the live sounds from Tanpura sourced from musical legends tuned to perfect 440Hz and played by seasoned professionals. The sounds were recorded with utmost perfection and in the right ambience set to 18 degrees.  
 
The resultant product is a treasure of perfect sounds that is bound to give a true concert feel for learners, amateurs, teachers and performing professionals. (Amplification may be required)
