About this app

VocaHood is a vocabulary building, study and learning app for students and everyone who wants to improve their vocabulary.

Users are able to personalize the application by adding new words in different categories based on foreign language (English, French, German, etc) or field of studies (biology, technology, chemistry, etc).

Reading books, listening to music are great ways to improve your foreign language. Lookup the words you don't understand, add them to the VocaHood and start to study.

There is no language restriction in the word/definition values; word and definition can be added in the same language or if you prefer you can enter definition in your native language.

VocaHood 8.0 comes with the following features:
- category utility; ability to define new categories (French, English, Biology, Chemistry, etc) to populate different sets of words to study.
- memorize words utility; target word first displayed followed by definition and sample usage after touch of a screen.
- self assessment utility; multiple choice test where user expects to find the meaning of a target word.
- list words utility; with learning progress bar for each word.
- update/delete words utility; can be reached when a word is touched on the list words page.
- add words utility; can be reached from the list words page and allows user to add both definition and a sample usage of the word in a sentence.
- delete all words option in settings
- mastery level option in settings; higher the mastery level, more difficult is the learning progress.
- Overall learning progress bar on the main page
- Words remaining counter are now available in both Memorize and Assessment activities.
- Exclude the mastered words option is available on settings.
- Show all stats on main activity
- Show and reset stats of a word on update word activity
- Reset all stats on settings activity
