This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing MiniOne PCR for Android on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. About this app

The MiniOne PCR System offers fast, affordable, and engaging biotechnology for hands-on learning in the classroom or serious inquiry in the research lab. This app provides an intuitive user interface for students, educators and researchers to program, run, and monitor protocols on the MiniOne PCR System from their own Android tablet or phone over a BLE connection. Users can access run-time data and protocol files using any file explorer application to permanently document their results and collaborate with other students, educators or researchers.
This version, v3.9.6, has the same features to control and monitor MiniOne PCR system as the previous version, and additionally complies with Google Privacy Policy by not accessing the root file system. If this is not important to you then there is no need to update your version of the app.
If you choose to update your app to v3.9.6 you must uninstall the previous version of the app on your device first. If prompted, accept requests for location services and access to files. You can import your previous protocols using the import button on the BlueTooth tab by selecting the Import button and locating your "Protocols" folder which is found on your internal storage. An intuitive user interface to program, run, monitor protocols on the MiniOne PCR System and save run-time data on an Android mobile device. This version, v3.9.6, has the same control/monitor features as v3.8.7, and complies with Google’s Privacy Policy. First, uninstall the previous version then accept permissions requests.
