Parvathaneni Brahmayya Siddhartha College of Arts & Science strives to meet the graduate and post-graduate educational needs of the region, imparting wholesome instruction for social, cultural and economic advancement.

Official mobile application For The first and the premier institution sponsored by the academy was‟ Siddhartha College‟ started in 1975 with B.A and B.Com. Programmes affiliated to Andhra University and subsequently transferred to Acharya Nagarjuna University. At present it is under Krishna University.

The college was renamed as "Parvathaneni Brahmayya Siddhartha College of Arts & Science‟ in 1983 by the then Hon. Chief Minister Sri N.T. Rama Rao.

Later a P.G. center was started offering M.B.A., M.Com., M.Sc.,(Electronics), M.Sc. (Mathematics), M.Sc. (Computer Science), M.C.A., M.A. (English), M.Sc (Chemistry) and M.Sc. (Physics).

The students both inland and abroad have won a good name for themselves and fame for the institution in cultural, curricular, extra - curricular and sports activities, adding new dimension to the college year after year.

Some of the students of the college have carved a niche for themselves among their fraternity all over the state, by winning scores of prizes in Quiz, Debating, Elocution and Sports.

The faculty members of P.G. Centre are well qualified to take up quality education in continuous process for the welfare of the students. P.G. Centre is well equipped with physical infrastructure, updated library, and quality of teaching learning process. The students are trained to meet the needs of the competitive world through various programmes such as life skills, soft skills, special workshops, personality development programmes, seminars etc. All these aspects are of paramount importance in providing the quality of education offered by our institution.

• The First Autonomous College in the jurisdiction of Acharya Nagarjuna University in 1988.
• First college to be accredited at ‘A’ level by NAAC, Bangalore in the jurisdiction of Acharya Nagarjuna University in 2004.
• Recognized as “College with Potential for Excellence (CPE)” by UGC, New Delhi.
• Recognized as “Community College” by UGC, New Delhi.
• Recognized as “Centre of Excellence” by Government of Andhra Pradesh.
• College affiliation is shifted to Krishna University, Machilipatnam in the academic year 2009.
• Recently Krishna University accredited “Research Centre” status to the departments of Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Management of our college.
