Karunashraya is a tranquil place situated at the bustling Kundalahalli Junction on Old Airport-ITPL Road, Bangalore, where free Palliative Care is provided for Advance Stage Cancer patients.

Karunashraya started in Oct 1994 under the aegis of Indian Cancer Society (Karnataka Chapter), an Rotary Bangalore-Indiranagara funded NGO, under Bangalore Hospice Trust. Karunashraya is at the forefront of spreading awareness, training & research in Palliative care. Karunashraya has been much awarded and acclaimed for having lowest admin expenses.

Starting with providing Home-Care Services to advanced stage cancer patients, Karunashraya now gives loving care to terminally ill Cancer patients, both on-site and at patient's home.

Karunashraya is powered by Volunteers, who donate their time, thoughts, energy and resources to provide succor and smiles to the terminally ill-patients. In-turn, they do get bliss, that is beyond words. Join the Volunteering force to provide and experience the unique joy of being a force for Good.

Karunashraya accepts In-kind donations in form of clothes, medicines, furnitures, groceries and toys. All monetary donations are exempted from tax under Section 80G (50% exemption) as appropriate.
