great app. the audio mimics the quality found on the real jlpt. have you ever tried speaking japanese on a phone with a native speaker? its not easy. the jlpt mimics real life... it is not always so easy to listen. the japanese placement exam at asu uses examples straight from different levels of the jlpt listening test and the level 1 and 2 examples sound just like this... like a muffled radio. its perfect practice for the actual test. you'll see what i mean when you actually take the jlpt level n2.
