หนังสือมัลติมีเดีย (M Book) KRAM จัดทำขึ้นโดยสำนักงานพาณิชย์จังหวัดสกลนคร ภายใต้โครงการพัฒนาศักยภาพมาตรฐานผ้าย้อมสีครามธรรมชาติจังหวัดสกลนคร ในรูปแบบแคตตาล็อกสินค้า (Product Catalog) ผ้าย้อมสีครามธรรมชาติของจังหวัดสกลนคร
จังหวัดสกลนครในทุกอำเภอ (18 อำเภอ) มีลักษณะพื้นที่ ที่มีสิ่งบ่งชี้ทางภูมิศาสตร์ หรือเรียกว่า “Geographical Indication (GI)” ที่เหมาะสมกับการเพาะปลูกต้นคราม ส่งผลให้น้ำครามที่ได้จากต้นครามที่มีแหล่งเพาะปลูกที่จังหวัดนี้ให้สีครามที่สวยที่สุดในโลกก็ว่าได้ ทำให้การย้อมสีครามธรรมชาติถูกถ่ายทอดเป็นภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นสืบต่อกันมาจนถึงปัจจุบัน โดยเส้นด้ายที่ถูกนำมาย้อมครามสามารถมาจากหลายประเภท อาทิเช่น เส้นด้ายโรงงาน, เส้นฝ้ายโรงงาน รวมทั้งเส้นฝ้ายจากการเข็นมือที่ถือเป็นภูมิปัญญาแบบดั้งเดิม
