eyesCloud3d is the first tool that has been developed to enable the automatic generation of 3D models from photos or videos. Thanks to this application, you can create your own 3D models using any type of camera. You don't need any special skills, and it’s a quick and simple process.

How does it work? The good news is you don't need to have any professional equipment or be an expert in 3D technology. You also won't need a lot of time! We’ve boiled the entire process down to 3 simple steps:

1. Capture the object you want to make a 3D model of with photos (min. 5 – max. 200) or a video recording (no longer than 4 minutes) of its surroundings. You can use any device, as long as it has a camera (smartphone, camera, drone, etc.).
2. Upload the photos or video to eyesCloud3d.
3. Visualize your automatically generated 3D model after 3 to 20 minutes.

Once you’ve generated your 3D model, you’ll be able to visualize it on your smartphone via the app, or on any other device using the eyesCloud3d platform. You can visualize your 3D model in either a point cloud or textured mesh, in a three-dimensional space which incorporates a series of tools that allow you to take measurements and calculate heights, areas, and volumes, as well as take cross-sections, scale, crop, set the location and georeference, merge, and insert notes and references in 3D models using links. All these tools allow you to interact with your 3D model and enhance the experience of reality.

You will be able to download your 3D model in several file formats (OBJ, PLY, E57, ASC, LAS, FBX, DAE, GLB, STL), which you can import into 3D editing software, print on a 3D printer using the STL file, or export to your AR/VR applications. You can even share your 3D models on several platforms such as social media, or by using a link to share on WhatsApp.
