Whether you come to fly or to watch, the official 2021 EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2021 app is a must-have for attendees who want the “World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration” at their fingertips!

The seven-day event, which runs from July 26 through August 1 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, will be the ultimate celebration of aviation.

Features of the app include:

View, filter, and search EAA AirVenture events, attractions, guest services, destinations, workshops, speakers, and exhibitors. The Map and Search section makes it easy for you to find exactly what you are looking for.

Plan Your Visit & Build Your Itinerary

Browse the schedule of events and create your own personal day-by-day, hour-by-hour itinerary so that you don’t miss the events, activities, exhibitors, and food venues you want to see the most. New for this year, you can view events by event date to easily plan your day. If you are logged in as a registered EAA member or guest, you can also build your itinerary on the EAA website from a desktop computer and later view or adjust your itinerary from your mobile device.

Interactive Map & Improved Functionality

The interactive map will give you a better look at the EAA grounds the week of AirVenture. “Favorite” any location on the map to make it easy to get exactly where you’re going. As icons appear on the map, you can click on them for more details and directions. Improvements to map functionality include being able to maximize, minimize, or hide maps for specific events so you can see what’s most important to you when looking at event info.

Getting Around

Tram and bus route information will be easier to find via our main menu and our Getting Around home screen option. Routes will be color-coded and show near real-time information for each bus pick-up location. The Getting Around section of the app provides information for arriving by aircraft or automobile and parking information to make your arrival easier.

Pin Your Location & Meeting Points

Whether it’s a parking spot, campsite, or your favorite shade tree, be sure to save it for later! Open the Map and Search section, click on the plus icon, and tap a pin of your choice to automatically drop it in your current location. Reference it anytime in the Map and Search section of the app. Through our application quick links at the bottom of every screen, you can also specify a pinned map location Meeting Point with fellow attendees then share it with them so you can find each other easily.

Notifications

Receive in-app notifications regarding activities, weather, and important schedule changes from the app home screen or main navigation menu. You’ll find the most up-to-date news and information available about AirVenture Oshkosh in the app, including safety and COVID-19 precautions, and can even have your mobile device notify you when notifications are published in the app.


Navigation Improvements & Search

Expanded main navigation menu items will help you more easily find events, venues, and transportation options quickly. New search functionality lets you search for AirVenture attractions by keyword. You can also easily access your Favorites from every screen of the app.
