The word "dhikr" according to the language means to remember. While the dhikr according to the syariat is remembering Allah SWT with the intention to get closer to Him. We are commanded to dhikr to God to always remember the power and greatness of Him so that we can avoid the arrogant and takabbur disease.

"O ye who believe, remember Allah's name, the greatest dhikr." (Surat al-Ahzab: 41).

Dzikir can be done in various ways and in whatever circumstances, except in a place that is inconsistent with the holiness of God. Like glory and praise in the lavatory.

"Those who remember Allah while standing or sitting or lying down and they are thinking about the creation of the heavens and the earth (saying):" Our Lord, You have not created this in vain. Glory to Thee, so guard us from the torments of hell. "(Surah Ali Imran: 191).

According to the language "ad-du'aa" means calling, asking for help, or begging for something. While praying in the sense of shari'a is pleading something or pleading for protection to Allah SWT by humbling themselves and submitting to Him. Prayer is a part of worship and can be done every time and every place, because Allah is always with His servants.

"And your Lord said:" Pray to Me, I will permit you. "(Surat al-Mu'min: 60).

For the believer who wants to gain success in life there are two things to do, that is trying or working hard and praying. Both ways must be taken, because in this life there are things that can not be reached by human thought. Therefore, in solving this problem the lives of these two ways must be pursued together.
