I actually fix phones and tablets for a living as part of my job and I would never recommend putting a tab or phone in the microwave. Get it fixed professionally yes it will cost but it will be done properly with a guarantee on parts and workmanship and not risk damaging other components

This is the best, very best app and website to gain knowledge on any phone/tablet and the very best tools! If they seem a little expensive and you can get the tools cheaper, then add up all the tools and shipping to compete with the vast array of tools in 1 set! And the reliability and craftsmanship of these tools!!! No way José

Thank you so much for the wealth of information! I've always been a weekend hobbyist of devices and replacing/repairing friends and families broken tech. You're definitely golden and rarely do I write app reviews but without you we'd all be out bookoo mulah with all the kids and dropped phones etc. Don't stop, ever, please. XOXO

Some areas of the app are good and full of content, for example phones and some are left incomplete and lacking content, for example cars. I couldn't depend on this app to find what I need and would feel like I am wasting my time looking so I am uninstalling it at this time. It needs the developers help to update as relying on people to do that will not work. But great concept!

I love the idea of this app, we need more people using it, asking questions, answering them, and giving info and general things they know. I downloaded this app hoping it could get me out of a bind, but everything I look through, there is either no information or not enough. You can't really depend on this app, not because of the developers, but because of the community. Since I can't use it because I need the info, and I can't give or contribute anything that I know about offhand. If you know a lot about a specific thing, please download the app and contribute to help others learn.

To the person talking about putting the device in the microwave, I'm not totally sure you actually fix anything for a living. As an extensive ifixit user, you put their removal heat device in the microwave for 30 seconds and lay it on the glue seams of what your working on to soften double sided tape. Try actually reading the guides instead of being a pompous know it all self inflated idiot. Thanks!
