Not sure about the other reviews of this but I love mine! App is a little quirky and totally not customizable. I have 2 of these gizmos (btw they wont work at the same time from same phone). Love them. Once set up it is great. Vibrate, ringtone, alarm sound or combo. No trouble here. Location permission is for weather (I dont think they are spying on me sleeping). Nice little feature. Overall love it!

You have to give the app permission for your location or the app won't work. Very weird. Why does it have to have location permission just for weather alerts?? Red flag. Also, the Bluetooth disconnects all the time from the alarm itself. Not reliable at all. When it DOES work it works great, as advertised, but only working 60 or 70% of the time doesn't cut it. Wouldn't recommend. Do not buy!!

connected at 11pm and by 4am it loses connection every night. hasn't worked once in the week that i have it. not sure if its the app or the device. device cant work without app so no time is synced to device. ive given it every possible permission i can but connection is lost every night.

Works for me every time (as long as I remember to keep it charged). I've never had connectivity issues. I appreciate the weather feature; it's a nice touch. The only improvement I would add is some interface button/graphic to let me know what intensity level the vibration is set at. There is one for sound, but it's not clear I'd that also gages the vibration intensity level. This would be helpful to add because the Smart Shaker 2 advertises that there are 3 levels of vibration intensity.

Worked awesome for a few werks, but then now it just intermittently doesn't stay connected. I will connect it via Bluetooth and it will say it's connected and then there is a 50/50 chance it may stay connected and work! Such a let down for be8ng initially so great.

Agree with other reviews. Updated version is disappointing. When there is zero attention to detail it shows. For example when I first set it up, the message said "Conglaturations" that my smart shaker was setup. Seriously spelled that way. Yes, typos happen but attention to detail is lacking.
