The app and pairing was a mess for the first few years. With the latest firmware and app, the low rating (2.4 at this time) doesn't give it justice. Way more stable with clearer instructions and improved interface. The science and vision behind this product was always great. Today (2021), I can recommend the product and app. Doppel has come a long way.

It's a pity this product was released before it was ready (mind you, took 2 years longer to arrive than they promised). But the whole thing doesn't connect properly to phone and app. A lot of money wasted. Following the response: no, I shall not be calling the service line. Nothing that would be said, would redeem a poor product. My only point is to warn others before wasting their money. And, if you were really concerned about service, it would not have taken 6 months to respond to my review.

Absolutely non-functional - waste of time and money I've been trying to get my Doppel working for months, going through multiple complex support methods and getting a second device sent from them with upgraded firmware, and it fails every time regardless of whether I try the new or original device.

Will not pair with Huawei Pro 30 phone. Cannot find to pair on Bluetooth... No problems on Ipad. Is it an android phone problem or just this make? Phone easier to carry round... .. 😱

There always seems to be some new issue for why the doppel won't pair to the app and for why it spontaneously unpairs. When it works it's great and the rhythms can be adjusted based on the emotional state you wish to cultivate. But I have experienced more irritation trying to get it to work consistently than pleasure and contentment when it actually works. I exhausted my troubleshooting options with the company and find that it is simply a fussy device/app combo that ends up becoming tedious.

About the app



Once you have downloaded the app, follow the setup sequence to connect to your doppel wristband. The app comes with five preset rhythms to feel relaxed, calm, focused, alert, or energized. Follow the steps to take your resting heart rate so that the app can suggest rhythms based on your physiology



Try out your personalized rhythms in different situations to find out which works best for you. As you get comfortable with what works, you will have the option to design your own rhythms.
