It'd be great if it actually while I'm in the store. If you're going to roll out a new app you should've made sure your computer system & stores could handle it. The internet availability, also. No it's not my phone. I know, because the regular app came up & so did 5 others.

This app sucks. They don't want you to save anything. I can't even put in my zipcode they are telling me where I am and it's Wrong. Not sure why they don't let you scan prices at any store like Wal-Mart does with their app. now I will have to keep bugging cashier for price checks.

bad! stores near me dont offer it yet the cashier tells you to do it!!! not worth having an app that doesnt work near me!

EDIT: this is my update after using this app at my dollar general location. i am amazed at how much this app improves my shopping experience at the store , it really takes out the work of having to keep track of the amount due at checkout and it really helps to figure out a price of something if i can't find out where it was at on the shelf. my DG location on main Street in Johnstown PA gives us the ability to use the calculator portion of the app since they don't have the DG GO self checkout.

App is phenomenal. I even use it to price check for customers as an employee. Use this in addition to the digital coupon app and your shopping is much quicker.

my app is buggy. add payment method - an error has occurred try again. accessing my coupons logs me out. I've had other issues where i get logged out. i can't do anything unless it's 4G. i like it, and it's nice, but it's buggy as hell for me

DG GO!, now with Cart Calculator, is an app that enables you to scan products as you shop to see prices, find deals and discounts, and track your total so you can stay within your budget. In some stores, you can even check out in the app and skip the line! We encourage you to give it a try and provide your feedback – help us create a shopping experience you love!

Here’s how it works:
- Scan products as you shop
- Find coupons and offers and see how all of your deals will be applied
- See your running total so you can stay on budget and know what you’ll pay once you reach the register
- Pay at the register as you normally would
- In some stores, you can pay directly in the app using the payment method you’ve added
o After you’ve paid, you will scan the QR code that appears on your screen at the dedicated DG GO! checkout tablet at the front of the store
o Once you’ve scanned your QR code, you can bag your items and GO!
o For all in-app purchases, your receipt is immediately available in the app and will also be sent via email
- Active DG GO! stores can be found in the app’s store locator. Download today to see if it is available in a store near you!
