Too many ads. Local news in Rochester is not very good. This is mediocre coverage. As for the app, like other local news apps it's more inconvenient to use than the website and has more obnoxious ads, so why would I use it? Uninstalling again.

This app is exactly what I need to get up to date news about Rochester. I honestly deleted my international news app and replaced them with WHEC. I could either spend my days getting stressed about national and international events that I have zero control over, or I can get stressed about local events that I actually have some manner of control over. I can't call the Belarusian government, but I can pester RPD to actually solve the crimes in my neighborhood instead of murdering people.

Unable to open app after downloading. Tried reinstalling several times with same result. Very disappointed ☹️.

The majority of the notifications I receive from the app is weather notifications even if I turn anything weather related off for notifications. It's quite annoying and I'm going to uninstall the app. I was using the app for actual news alerts but the app turned into a weather notification pushing app.

Terrible user interface. You have to scroll all the way through a story to get to the next. Used to be able to swipe to get to the next. Uses a tremendous amount of mobile data.

This ap WAS user friendly, clear and simple until the 4/24/19 update. The changes were not necessary. The ap is now confusing and cumbersome to navigate. So disappointed!
