Paid version still FULL of ads! In good faith, I bought every add-on for this app that the developer offered, for things like offline maps, unblocking filters, donation for development, and to get rid of the ads. But EVERY article is saturated with hyperlinks that, when tapped on, instead of linking to a word's definition or another Wikipedia article, advertises one of the developer's numerous apps. I paid a total of $10 on in-app purchases just to be nagged to spend God knows how much more.

The author if this app clearly has a vast knowledge and love for the history of our greatest conflict. I was only hoping for nice maps but the very organized way all aspects of the battles are covered makes it so much easier for even a history buff to put things into perspective. I'm so happy I actually paid for anything I could to show my gratitude.

This is a good app. It has a wide collection of Wikipedia articles for various battles, engagements, and campaigns. It is missing quite a few important battles (such as the Battle of Franklin). The location map is a great added touch. The formatting is a little bit strange, but it might just be the device I am using. All in all, it's a good app with a ton of information. I definitely recommend it!
