هر کس در عمر خود این دعا را یک بار بخواند و اگر نتواند گوش بدهد یا با خود دارد چنان باشد که چهل هزار ختم قرآن کرده باشد
و چهل هزار حج کرده باشد
و چهل هزار گوسفند قربانى کرده
و چهل هزار بنده آزاد کرده
و چهل هزار مسکین را طعام داده
و چهل هزار برهنه را پوشیده باشد
و تورات موسى و انجیل عیسى و زبور داوود و فرقان محمد المصطفى صلى الله علیه و آله را خوانده باشد
و اگر بیمار باشد چنانچه طبیبان از معالجه آن عاجز باشند چون این دعا را به آن بیمار دهند و بر بالین وى گذارند شفا یابد
و اگر کسى قرض دار باشد و این دعا را بخواند حق تعالى دین او را ادا فرماید
و اگر کسى کاهل نماز باشد این دعا را با خود دارد حق تعالى دل او را روشن گرداند حریض نماز شود
و اگر زن دشوار زاید این دعا را بر آب خواند بخورد به آسانى بار نهد
و اگر کسى را بسته باشند این دعا را بر موم گیرند و بر کمر وى بندند فى الحال گشاده گردد
و اگر بخت دختر بسته باشد این دعا را بخواند یا با خود دارد بخت او گشاده شود
و اگر کسى را به پاى دار برند این دعا را بر وى بخوانند و بدمند یا در نزد آن کس باشد هیچ ضررى به او نرسد
و اگر جهت فرزند بخواند خداوند عالم پسرى به وى عطا فرماید
و دارنده این دعا از گزند مار و عقرب و زبان بدگویان ایمن گردد.
