Dreadful app. Unintuitive, buggy, almost unusable. I've been hoping they would fix it for 3 years now. Still rubbish. This really let's the Na6005 down, as without the app it is almost impossible to use as well! Time to employ a user interface professional I think.

Since 2/3/20 update it works again. But I can't browse internet radio, nor scan for stations on fm. I get no pleasure from using the app, but at least I can now turn up the volume from where I am. The claim that this is a complete rebuild seems odd, it looks just the same and is still full of bugs.

Seriously clunky, gets disconnected often. Poor old fashioned interface. Compared to other manufacturers eg. Sonos this thing looks Jurassic

I have two Marantz NA11S1 for more than 5 years now. I bought them new to enjoy great streaming experience. However, the Marantz apps are a total disappointment right from the start. Imagine the embarrassment every time you want to demonstrate your high-end hifi to a friend and it just does not work! I really cannot understand that Marantz does not take their apps and their customers more serious. It was not great before, now the app is a total disaster.

The sound from the mcr611 is great. But this app wants me to throw the system out of the window. It's awful. Playing from the NAS is painful if it even finds the music I want. Stops running, gets out of sync with the unit. I really wanted to like my mcr611 but i wish I'd never bought it. Get the app updated. When I replace my unit, it won't be marantz unless this app gets updated. UPDATE. Since the update, it's working fine and fast. Happy now. SECOND UPDATE. Still sucks. Do they test the app?

For now the experience is not bad, seems to do the job. But do not expect incredible control of your system. Marantz is excellent for sound quality but awfull for software, even on their sounds systems. It looks the app is dead for them because the last update is incredibly old. Marantz can you confirm if you want to keep this app alive or not?
