I have a Pixel 2 and have not had any significant problems with the app. It runs fine every time. I hope D&M continue to invest in it because it's the future. I think the most annoying part is the curve editor. The points just respond so poorly to touch. It's be nice to have more control over them and the ability to type in the freq. Q. and db. Also it'd be nice to copy and past curves between speakers. Also subwoofer control down to 5hz. Pretty annoying it stops at 20hz for us HT geeks.

In case others hit this, versions newer than 1.7.2 have a bug where your subwoofer trim gets set to -12db (max lowest trim) no matter how low you set the subwoofer gain. Still no word on a fix from them so I'm using v1.7.2 as a workaround. If you're getting -12 on the sub, try lowering the gain and re-run the calibration, but if you keep getting -12 then this is the bug I'm describing. Only an issue with the android app. The MultEQ app is an improvement but would be nice if they fixed this bug.

Horrible implementation of an app. I've tried to do measurements 3 times. First I took all 8 locations, and waited between each for the data to be collected, only to have it crash on the last one. Then the next try, I only did three, then it crashed. Then I tried again and it crashed. Would be great if it worked, but this would be bad for a free app, much less a $20 app.

Totally useless. Downloaded the app (1.8.0) to my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and tried it with my Denon AVR-X3500H. It connected quickly with my AVR and correctly identified my speakers. Unfortunately it was down hill from there. I ran a test of three calibration runs. In between each speaker test I would get an error saying the app is not responding. I hit WAIT and continued. At the end of the three runs I looked at the results. The subwoofer trim level said -12 dB. Totally wrong and useless.

I think it works quite good. I always do a complete reset before I run a new calibration. The slow part is transferring the massive file to the receiver/processor but once received it apply room correction quite fast. You can copy each file you have loaded to the receiver/processor from the EQ Editor then copy those settings to a USB stick. You simply use the USB copied sticks instead of loading from the Editor. Saves lots of time. I like using a tablet instead of phone. Well worth $20.00.

Needless to say that I'm more than a little irritated that I had to spend an extra $20 on an app to access all the audio customization features on my $1600 Denon receiver. Dinging 2 stars for that fact alone. Also dinging a star for the setup taking multiple attempts to succeed. I did not experience near the bugginess others have reported on my OnePlus 8t but I ran the setup 3 times with 3 different experiences and 1 successful calibration. This non-streamlined app should be free. Period!
