Absolutely phenomenal West African Percussion app! I will hold fredback for now. I have spent a couple of hours in the app and so far the prevailing feeling is simply that I am blown away by what this offers, particularly over alternatives. I can see this useful for a practicing drummer, a dance instructor who does not have access to a live band, or just someone who wants to have fun making music on an app! Merci merci

Downloaded an hour ago... I literally feel like it's my birthday! First time ever leaving a rating and review for an app! Yes! It is this good... This app is gold for any djembefola. Those practice exercises are outstanding and that swing adjustments makes it a one of kind app! THANK YOU for making it free. From an ex graphic designer point of view, my only constructive advice would be to try an easier to read san serif font for the app. But it's not a big deal really. Keep up the good work!

The beats are good for having a custom beat behind you but MAN these loops are scratchy! It sounds like there is a short in my phone when I play them. Are they intentionally noisy so people can't use them for commercial use or is there some kind of bug that is getting worked out?

It's free, and it has more customisation than I could ask for, so 5/5. I'll be watching if this gets better and better, but i have no complaints. Thanks!

All I can say after using it for a few days is that it is a very intresting project. You can not find more rythm patterns elsewhere and it is for free. But you will better use it on an average or above device, either it will crush. It is not for proffesional use but for my everyday practise (I play balafon and djembe) is more than enough. Plus I can alter the rythms. If you like west africa rythms, give it a go.
