Every car / bike has a unique identification code called VIN. This number contains important information about the motor vehicle, such as its manufacturer, year of manufacture, factory where it was built, engine type, model and more.

You can check your car's VIN number in the online database if:

The VIN number has a specific format that is recognized worldwide. This format is implemented by the ISO institute.
