I like almost everything about the Droid Depot app, but I do wish the Droid Builder section allowed us to create and save our own fully-rendered virtual droids based on all of the styles, parts and colors available in the parks, perhaps even working as an itemized checklist for when we next return to Batuu. And so long as I'm dreaming out loud, wouldn't it be fun to allow our virtual droid creations into the camera AR experience to show off some playful interaction and hijinks?

This is what I needed from the start. Disney, I'm begging you to add more games and features, these droids are seriously adorable. Anything you can think of, I want. I adore this interaction, which we should've had from the start. But when we played tic tac toe he totally crashed into a cabinet when he spun around!! Please warn me when there's movement next time, I need to protect my robot child. 😂

Better than original remote! They should have done this from the gate! Huge amounts of waste created with those bulky cheap remotes. I gave it 4 stars because there's definite room for improvements but, as far as response time it's quick! And I swear there's new sounds. I'm not going to be all super critical like other negative reviews as, this is afterall a newly released app. So chill people. Its not that cereal.

This might help some with connections issues. Have your phone with bluetooth and location On, get next to the droid and open the app. Follow the steps to sync with your droid, when the app connects, it will ask to turn Off the droid and press continue, then On back again and continue. This is how finally sync with your droid. If you still having issues, uninstall the app and restart your phone. Install the app and make sure all services are ON, then repeat steps. Works well on Oneplus 5 device

I have to say, I'm bummed that it looks like there's not much to do in this app unless you own a droid already. I was hoping it would let me visualize a build (custom colors, sounds, etc) so I could go into the park and basically say "hey, I want this droid that I already designed." The app seems well designed though, and it looks like it will give more options for the droid than I expected. This is the kind of companion app I would want for a droid as expensive as those are.

A bit buggy. Parts of the droid profile are not printing properly. Had to reinstall once to get it to connect with my Pixel phone. Not a bad first start. Would be nice to have the option to broadcast the Galaxies Edge Bluetooth semaphores to have my droid react the way it did in the park. Of course you would have to make that a location specific feature so it couldn't be activated at Galaxies Edge, but it would be nice to have.
