About this app

We have developed an app that we call Admin On The App or AOTA in short. This is a mobile application that you can use in conjunction with DiscipleSoft.All DiscipleSoft users can download this app onto their mobile phones and they will be able to conveniently capture the following information;
1. Member Information
2. New Visitors
3. New Converts
4. Offerings and
5. Attendance
Once this information has been captured it is automatically integrated with information on your main DiscipleSoft system. A major benefit of AOTA is that it streamlines the use of DiscipleSoft by facilitating the decentralization of data capture.
The way that decentralization is achieved is by dividing your church into clusters and then appointan administratorfor each cluster. The more traditional clusters are as follows;
Cluster 1: Group Leaders like Men, Ladies, Youth and Sunday School, each of these groups will select one representative who will be given access to use the app to capture and view information about the group, for instance, when Ladies meet for their weekly meetings, this administrator will capture details of the meeting like people in attendance, offerings collected, any visitors or converts at the meeting using their mobile phone. On the same app they can view reports and information about their group.
Cluster 2: Cell Group Leaders – each cell group leader will have an app to capture and view information about their cell group.
Cluster 3: Lastly the main church will also have an app to manage any admin matters that do not relate to any particular group for example Sunday Services, Sunday Offering, Corporate Prayer Meetings, Conventions et cetera.
Perhaps the most important benefit of doing administration from the app is that you can work offline and then when you access the Internet the app will synchronize with your main DiscipleSoft system. We believe that the app will empower your leaders with information and reports they need to discharge their duties and they can do all this conveniently from their mobile devices.
