This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing DiO Cam+ on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Good app... But with some problems (at least in my phone, BQ Aquaris X-Pro with Android 8.1). Notifications stops to work after sometime since last time you opened the app, so "Receive Alarm" function is not useful at all. That's my main reason to give three stars to the app. In another hand, when I am playing recordered videos, sometimes appears a white screen and the app reloads again in the main screen, where I have to pull down to update in order to see my camera. Appart of that, I am very happy with my outdoor rotating camera.

I agree with Quin Munoz, running the app on samsung galaxy s9+ android9, diocam-rio1, it is ok for camera positioning and video monitoring function, but I also observe the "receive alarm" notification to the phone does not function reliably, so it is not optimal for security "alert" device, which in the end was my main interest when buying the cam, hope the app can be improved wrt this feature...

I have the same problem another buyer has experienced. The app won't allow me to create an account and therefore, I cannot use the camera.
