About this app

The first community review based photo identification app of its kind that allows you to share in revenue earnings!

It is easy to use, simply:
1. Take up to 4 images at one time or a 5 second video clip
2. Select the most relevant category
3. Add a comment, like location or further details if you want
4. Click Submit
and a specialist or enthusiast will accurately identify it for you.

The key here is that it is a community based identification app so the more identifiers (Thatter’s) there are the faster and more accurate the responses will be.

We call a user who uploads files to be identified a Whatter as in “What is that?”

A Thatter, as in “That is a”, is a user who is either a specialist or enthusiast for a particular category. The top Thatter for each category will receive a share of the revenue generated by the app every month.

How do you become a top Thatter?

Simply select those categories you enjoy when signing up. When an image or clip is submitted it will be pushed to the Thatters for identification. If you are the first correct identifier you earn 5 points, if you agree with a correct identification you earn 2 points. There are also time bonuses so the quicker you correctly identify an image the more points you earn.

Share your identified images or clips with your friends via email, Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Note:
What’s That is currently a free app with no in app advertising for early adopters.
The images you upload are done so anonymously and are not searchable by any other users. Once the Thatter has identified your upload it is removed from their notification page. In case of any problem, please don't hesitate to contact us on the in-app Feedback menu option before giving us negative or down ratings. We are very interested in any feedback you may have.
