This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing My Piano Scales: ABRSM, Trinity and LCM on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

An incredibly useful app for teachers. Specially love the metronome which is preset at the correct speed for each grade. The randomise feature also takes the pressure off parents to keep testing their children before an exam.

About this app

Select your required grade, scale type and key and have access to all the ABRSM, Trinity College London (Trinity) and London College of Music (LCM) exam board scale requirements for their piano exams. Every scale and scale requirement listed from Grade 1 to Grade 8.

App details include:

Required number of octaves
Scale suggested fingering
Required hands
Scale key signature (ABRSM only)
Dynamics (Trinity and LCM only)
Required style (legato and/or staccato)
Minimum speed with built-in metronome

The app also has the ability to randomise all, or a selection, of scales for each grade to imitate an exam scenario.
