I would highly not recommend. Their motto "Don't memorize, but learn" but have horrible explanations. Even some stating "it's a word FAA question so just remember this." I contacted their customer support about a few poor explanations and was very rudely responded too. So layout of app 3 stars explanations 2 stars customer service 0 stars

This app still relies on the previous text supplement so most of the figures and diagrams are wrong. Most, if not all, of the questions that don't use the supplement are correct but don't bother with this until they update it to use the correct supplement.

Took the written test, after very comprehensive study of the Dauntless software, did 6 practice tests and scored high 90% on all. I had never seen over 2/3 of the questions that were on the test. Meanwhile I took the test at the same time as 4 others who used Sheppard, they had seen 100% of the questions in their prepware. Dauntless uses false advertising and they are a complete fraud. I will be pursuing a full refund. I passed with a decent grade but no thanks to Dauntless

Dear Dauntless I have been flying for 40 years on UK/foreign licences but recently decided to gain my FAA ATP (H). For various reasons my study time was reduced to a one month period but your software was fantastic in helping me pass both the written and oral exams. I cannot recommend you highly enough. Plus your customer support was outstanding. I emailed a query on the 4th of July in the early hours (forgeting the sgnificance as I''m British) and a reply came back straight away, resolving the problem! Many thanks for reducing my stress levels.

I ended up also buying the "other app everyone uses" a week before the test so I got to try both. This app is much more user friendly but the questions aren't as up to date. The FAA has been changing a lot of questions recently and only 40% of the questions on the test were in this app (a little less than in the other app), but the material is still the same so I was able to get 90%. It's not actual FAA questions but noone really has them and I'd still recommand this app
