VISION:
To unite the Veterans (Ex-Servicemen) of all three services of the union of India to utilise their potential in Nation building. The real heroes who don’t have their name on the jersey, who truly have their countries flag on their arms of Uniform. The simple truth is that every veteran has his/her unique story, and this is the platform where you can narrate your experience of the journey. This is the medium for all the Veterans to apprise their experience for uniting nation.

Mission:
To channelize the potential of Veterans to initiate a movement to create a nationalistic society by inculcating patriotism, nationalism and integrity amongst citizens in general and youth and children in particular. The willingness with which our young people are likely to serve the mother land. Also Veterans India is the Dias were you can express your gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them. Ex-servicemen are ‘role models’ of ethical leadership with ingrained morals and value systems focused on ‘Duty, Honour and Country’ contributing to society and nation building. It’s the time to learn more and more from them and Veterans India is a great platform devoted to all the Ex-Servicemen to share their Golden Words.
STRENGTHS:
• Veterans are most suited for generating a nationalistic and democratic society since they follow a culture which is a political and does not discriminate on the basis of religion, caste, creed or status.
• Over 30 lakh Veterans can unite for a democratic awakening and contribute in Nation building.
• Our diversity is our greatest strength, today we have the opportunity to recognize and thank the generations of patriots and all of those who contribute to the strength of this great nation.
• Veterans represent various strata’s of the society and are present in every nook and corner of the country, thus can have greater influence on society from the root to level up.
• The group armed forces stand for “unity in diversity”. Differences in religion, language, caste, culture or any other marker of belonging have not mattered to the solidarity of the armed forces, and servicemen of different backgrounds have fought shoulder to shoulder in the defence of our nation, as they continue to do today.

APPROACH:
• Establishing national and state level functional organization of Veterans irrespective of ranks.
• Partnering with local political, civil administration, social and educational organizations to uphold interests of nationalism
• Man-at-arms believe heritage is like the multi-coloured quilt that is India, and they cherish this vibrant diversity”.
• Veterans India approach Ex-Servicemen to widen their wings and share their experiences and stories.
• Engagement in activities aimed towards encouraging nationalism and patriotism amongst youth and children.
• Continuous interaction amongst Veterans at national and local level.
• Providing a platform for veterans to interact at national and local level.
• Organize state and national level functions to restore honour and self-respect of veterans.
• This is the small contribution by the Veterans India to the Ex-Servicemen all over India to share and vocalize their narratives and skills.
