About this app

The rivers have always been the cradle of great civilizations, and Egypt is no exception. The Nile River was not only essential for the irrigation and fertilization of the fields but also a source of resources in itself.

The papyrus plant grew naturally in the marshiest areas at the Nile’s delta, and its uses were multiple.
