Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

I don't even know where to begin. This app lets you wander through random soundscapes. When you find one you like, you can save it, and you can explore variations on it. It's very meditative and calming. It's really hard to describe. Every musician and sound designer should have this.

MendelTone is a portable sound evolution app. The MendelTone synthesizer is a virtual modular synth optimized for mobile platforms, and features a flexible patch topology with basic modules such as oscillators and delays.
Using a proprietary variant of the genetic algorithm based loosely on the work of Charles Darwin and Gregor Mendel, this app allows you to search the space of possible synth tones using preferential selection and patch breeding, and hear the results in real time.
