There's a delay before the keys start to sound. You must wait, because if you start pressing the keys too soon, then the sound never ever starts and you have to kill the app and start over. A second problem is that it puts your device into landscape mode, which it needs, but often it gets stuck there, even after you kill xpiano. Last update was three years ago, so I guess that's it, folks.

I used to like this app, but not anymore on recent Android versions. It
doesn't hide the on-screen Home key and the keys stay silent for a while
after starting the app. Too bad.

No longer has sound. Used to be great. It's silent on my Galaxy S7 in Nougat.

Please consider supporting connected midi devices. I would love to not have a separate app when I want to connect my little controller for an impromptu jam.

the MIDI export function makes it possible to create new songs with a tablet wherever you are, and later you can import the MIDI file into your composing program on the computer at home. The sound of the piano is very good also. IMPORTANT:If you want to use the midi file with Ableton Live you have to change the extension of the file from "midi" to "mid. Then you can import it.
