From a flashlight that your phone already has, to a beeping noise that is sure to alert anyone to your presence; the safe lancer app has it all. One of my favorite features is a crime map that tells you what crime has happened in the last week. I’d say it's useful, but when your copying Windsor police, adding nothing of your own (despite what the app tells you) and doing a less featured, clunkier implementation I’d say why to bother. The worst part is Windsor police app also works on a phone, so you could just use that. Overall, it’s a pretty huge disappointment when you realize the university paid someone to design this. On a positive note, its still better than uwinsite.

Flashlight requires acces to your files to work and the Crime Map is basically just a screen shot of the WPS crime map centered around main campus. Falsely advertises campus crime reports as present on the map and doesn't even show downtown campus...
