This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing McGill Student Travel Registry on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

McGill Student Travel Registry is the official safety app for McGill students travelling outside of the Greater Montreal area on University-sponsored travel activities. The app allows McGill to reach students in case the situation in the location they are visiting changes. 

The app will send you important safety alerts, check-in requests and provide access to safety resources. Every McGill student participating in a University-sponsored travel activity outside of the Greater Montreal area is required to register their trips in this app.

Once the friend accepts the Friend Walk request, the user picks their destination, and their friend tracks their location in real time; they can keep an eye on them to make sure they make it safely to their destination.
