About this app

kitab ini biasanya dibahas dengan cara dihafalkan oleh setiap santri. Dengan cara menghafal syair-syair itu, santri akan mudah mengingat setiap perubahan dan kedudukan kalimat yang akan dibahas di dalam kitab kuning.
Sebagaimana diungkapkan pengarang Kitab Ta'lim al-Muta'allim Ila Thariqah al-Ta'allum, Syaikh Burhanuddin Al-Zarnuji (w 620 H/1223 M), ''Setiap pelajaran hendaknya dipelajari dengan cara menghafal, baru kemudian memahaminya. Setelah menghafal dan memahami, baru melakukan pencatatan. Jangan mencatat sebelum paham karena itu akan membuang-buang waktu.''
Nazam Imrithi secara keseluruhan berjumlah sekitar 204 syair. Dalam kitab ini, juga ada Nazam Maqshud karya Syaikh Ahmad bin Abdurrahim. Nazam Maqshud berisi sekitar 113 bait syair, yang berisi tentang perubahan (i’rab) kalimat di dalam bahasa Arab.
Syaikh Syarafuddin al-Imrithi memulai pembahasan kitabnya dengan bab al-Kalam. Dalam kitabnya ini, pengarang menyebutkan tentang definisi kalam (kalimat). Kalamuhu lafzhun mufidun musnadin, wal kalimatu al-lafzhul mufidu al-mufradu. Li ismin, wa fi'lin tsumma harfin tanqasim. Wa hadzihi tsalatsuha hiya al-kalam.
Kalam itu adalah lafaz yang memberi faedah (manfaat) bersambung. Dan, kalimat adalah lafaz mufrad (sendiri) yang memberi faedah (makna). Kalam itu terbagi tiga, yaitu isim, fiil dan huruf, itulah pembagiannya. Dan, ketiga pembagian itulah yang disebutkan dengan kalam.
