David Tanganelli began his career as a musician in mid-1998 having the “harmonica” as his instrument and utter passion. Tanganelli has been acclaimed by critics as one of the major harmonica player throughout Brazil.
After sharing the stage with Big Names such as Mark Kelb (US), John MacField (US), Gonzalo Araya (Chile), Flávio Guimarães (BRA), Johnny Nicolas (US) Freddy Munoz (Chile), Antonio Vergara (EC), Marcelo Ponce (ARG), Rachel Zigler (US) among others, the musician also performed at “Programa do JÔ” – the biggest talk show in Brazil, "N´Boga TV Show"- in Ecuador, which he has also got recognition abroad.
David gained notice at “The International Harmonica Meeting” where he was invited to perform two times in a row sharing the stage next to North Americans Steve Guyguer, Howard Levy among others.
Tanganelli was a member of the Jazz Orchestra (Jazz Combo Unicep), of the Unicep University in Brazil, where due his performance, received a scholarship that resulted in a graduation in publicity and marketing in 2008.

His characteristic sound is present in many recordings, among them are names such as Rick & Renner – a Brazilian Country Duet, – Flávio Guimarães and Greg Wilson – both from Blues Etílicos band. David also recorded small parts in the short film "The boy and the bird", and played harmonica in the soundtrack to the film "Santiago Violenta", recorded in Chile in 2011. Having released three albums, he is currently working on his 4th one. his first solo album. intends release it soon.

Sua Gaita e sonoridade marcaram presença em inúmeras gravações, dentre elas estão nomes como a dupla Rick e Renner, Flávio Guimarães e Greg Wilson (Blues Etílicos), além das participações com sua gaita em curtas metragens como “"O menino e o pássaro"” e a gravação em Santiago no Chile da trilha sonora do filme "Santiago Violenta" em 2011.

Em 2005 foi convidado a integrar a “Combo Jazz Unicep”, banda de jazz da faculdade Unicep de São Carlos-SP onde lhe resultou uma bolsa de estudos e a graduação de Publicitário em 2008, além do inesquecível contato com Stanley Jordan no SESC n Jazz festival 2007 em São Carlos-SP.
Principal divulgador da harmônica realiza além de shows, oficinas, workshop e work shows por todo Brasil com intuito de divulgar a “Gaita de Boca” em todos os estilos onde se destaca.
É endorsee exclusivo das Harmonicas HOHNER, uma das marcas mais respeitadas de instrumentos musicais do mundo.
Esteve novamente se apresentando em turnê solo pelo Chile, Equador e Argentina, além de estar dando início às gravações de seu primeiro disco solo com previsão de lançamento para 2014.
