About this app

De Bloemaert is een school op katholieke grondslag. Als team onderschrijven wij deze katholieke grondslag en werken wij vanuit een bepaald mens- en wereldbeeld. In ons doen en laten trachten wij dagelijks een positieve levensinstelling over te dragen, zonder vooroordelen en met respect voor ieders anderszijn en andersdenken.
De mens is een sociaal wezen dat zich beweegt in verschillende gemeenschappen. Daarom besteden wij in ons onderwijs veel aandacht aan de sociale vaardigheden van onze leerlingen. Zij moeten leren met anderen te communiceren. Zij zijn onderdeel van een groep en binnen deze groep is iedereen gelijkwaardig. Met deze visie bereiden we hen voor op de maatschappij.

Ook zien wij het als onze taak om leerlingen te vormen tot zelfstandige, weerbare personen. Zij moeten leren voor zichzelf op te komen zodat ze ervaren wie ze zijn, welke rechten ze hebben en wat ze kunnen. Tevens leren we hen zich te houden aan regels en afspraken. Op deze manier weten zij zich beter staande te houden in onze samenleving.
