La Asociación Española de Cáncer de Mama Metastásico (ACMM) nace a partir de la iniciativa de la joven Chiara Giorgetti, quien en enero de 2017 crea un grupo cerrado en Facebook con el fin de compartir las vivencias de mujeres con Cáncer de Mama Metastásico, que viven una realidad diferente de las mujeres con Cáncer de Mama.
