This sounds great, but as a musician, I'd find it much more useful if there were some way to know which note or key I was about to play, or to be able to set it to a particular scale or key. Then I could really see using this as an instrument, maybe with practice I can feel it out.

A real instrument that responds intuitively to the players onscreen creative inputs. Wonderful for creating free improvisations in a range of environments. The onscreen display becomes a form of real time, evolving notation that is particularly unique.
