This is a good app that helps look up scriptures really fast. The main thing that I like is that you don't need to scroll at all to find a specific scripture.

I like to read along when people reference scriptures from the pulpit or in classes. LDS Library works great for Sunday School or PH if the teacher follows the lesson, but finding that short verse during a talk or other mtg before the speaker moves on is difficult. With this app, I have the verse up as soon as the speaker provides the reference, and I'm not fumbling/scrolling if I'm asked to read.

This App makes looking up scriptures quick and easy. Jumping from one standard work to another is done with one simple tap. Much less scrolling and searching than other scripture apps. I also like the options to customize my font style and size. Clean simple format makes it very user friendly.

I was a little hesitant at first, thinking "I already have Gospel Library. Why use this too?" First-off, this does not replace LDS Gospel Library. It's just a simple,(but I also found it addictive), app to make reading/finding scriptures much faster. It's super helpful in church classes to find scriptures quickly or even in seminary for a digital age scripture chase. I timed myself using this app verse regular Gospel Library and I was 13-24 seconds faster at finding a scripture verse with the App. Doesn't seem like much, but it was kind of awesome. The way LDS Gospel Library lays out the scriptures now, you have to scroll and scroll between books, chapters and then verse. And if you're like me, you often scroll to far, then have to scroll back up. I don't know why, but that annoys me. Also, if you want to switch between standard works you have to go back to the main scripture page, select the new book and have another scroll-a-thon to find the next verse. Very inefficient. This cuts that all out and will automatically make you the first person to find a scripture in class every time. Only drawback is then you may be asked to read the scriptures out loud in class more often.
