Verb Mate is no longer continued but still works.

First a little warning, this app will be very helpful if you already know some Swedish and have some knowledge about the verb tenses as this app focuses on the tense forms.

With this app, you can create your own practice cards, with your own Swedish sentences and verbs so you learn the verbs and conjugation you want to learn with your preferred translation.

With Verb Mate you can easily make your own practice cards with Swedish verbs that you want to learn and have full control of what you practice.

It is perfect if you have a friend or a teacher that can help you to make cards the way you want to express yourself in the Swedish language.

You have a lot of tools and options to tailor-make the best practice session for you.
Different input methods, answer cards with different tenses, random letters from the actual tense, keyboard.

Different Modes:
Cards only discard when correct, always or never. (on the fly)

With text to speech (On supported devices).

Timer if you even want to make it harder.

If you are uncertain of the usage of the Swedish verb tense conjugation you can easily check it directly while doing the exercise!

In the Practice card section:
Easily check the statistics, percentage of answering correct, points, and streak.
Choose which ones you want to practice on, if you choose all, then the ten with the lowest score will be selected for the practice.

You can solely focus on Swedish verbs and their conjugation tenses as well, in the verb drill section you can choose exactly what Swedish verbs and what tenses you want to practice on.
If the Swedish verb doesn't exist, just add it in the verb list!

I have tried to do it as simple to use as possible, but there is always room for improvement! :)


The including Swedish practice cards in this app is more or less only there to give you some inspiration for your own cards.
If there are a bunch of verbs that you think is missing please mail med them and I will make sure they are included next release.

What's new?
Now on practice card exercises, auxiliar verbs will be marked yellow as it can be easy to miss otherwise.
When clicking on them you will get detailed information, see screenshot.
A next button added while doing practice card exercises, easier have a better look before the next practice card.

Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
