what a dumb move, at least have an option to pay at the store?? doesnt make sense to download an app to pick up something from a convenience store. wanted a drink and i had to download an app, put my credit card info. the whole point of technology is to improve ppls lives. this is a step in the wrong direction

The Cheers app offers a seamless shopping experience at any of our Cheers unmanned stores.
Once you’ve downloaded the app, easily set up your account, preferred payment method and facial recognition (optional).
At the store, enter by scanning the in-app QR code or by facial recognition.Start shopping. Items you pick will automatically be updated in the app. 
When you’re done, just walk out of the store. You’ll be charged according to your selected payment method.It’s as easy as that!
