About this app

City Squire Radio was developed to showcase past live performances of the City Squires when the band performed in the Greater Cleveland area in the sixties, to memorialise the records that the group released in the sixties, and to introduce the public to new songs written and recorded by two of the group’s remaining members; Jim Brickner and Greg Burnett. While there will be a great deal of popular sixties music played, we also hope to have contemporary groups contribute their recordings and provide a venue where they can get their music played without paying fees. Additionally, as the station matures we hope to offer live interviews with Cleveland area performers from the sixties who helped to create the rock and roll sound that we all love so well. We also hope to interview contemporary artists who have contributed their music for airplay and promote their appearances and websites. To learn more about the City Squires “Then and Now”
