This app keep me abreasted with the news on california , San Jose etc which is helpful to know our loved ones who are living there. I would like to take this opportunity to Suggest erecting of Plain Lightning poles in the dense forest area to an extent much higher than the tallest tree. Say 300 to 500 mts high conducting poles which will give the lightning protection to trees. Also this can be erected in any dense tree areas whether it is a forest or residential complex. Only criteria is the lightning pole should be higher than any other structures. The tall buildings have these mechanism. Same conducting poles can be erected to trees to prevent lightning strikes. Hope my suggestion works.
