About this app

Provinsi Lampung memiliki banyak lokus-lokus sejarah lokal. Dari situs megalitik, makam para pendiri Islam, tempat ibadah dan bangunan era kolonial yang usianya telah ratusan tahun.
Permasalahannya, selain sebagian kondisinya kini memprihatinkan, tidak seluruh masyarakat mengetahui letak persis lokus-lokus tersebut. Sementara kemajuan zaman membuat generasi muda seolah kehilangan jati dirinya. Mereka tidak tahu sejarah daerahnya sendiri.
Oleh sebab itulah, adalam upaya mendekatkan masa lalu dengan masa kini melalui teknologi android, kami ingin melaksanakan pembuatan aplikasi berbasis android, yaitu PETA DIGITAL LOKUS SEJARAH LAMPUNG.
Ini adalah “peristiwa sejarah” mengingat sampai saat ini belum ada peta sejarah Lampung berbasis android.
Produk yang dihasilkan adalah aplikasi peta digital berbasis android. Aplikasi ini berisi lokus-lokus sejarah di Lampung, menggabungkan teks narasi singkat tentang lokus, gambar, dan fasilitas Google Maps, keunikan lokus, juga akses GPS untuk menjangkau lokasi lokus sejarah. Bila salah satu kabupaten di Lampung di klik, fokus lokus sejarah akan terkonsentrasi di kabupaten tersebut. Pengguna bisa melihat informasi sejarah yang ada di kabupaten tersebut cukup melalui android masing-masing. Penggunaan aplikasi berbasis android untuk memudahkan mengetahui sejarah lokal Lampung.
Kegiatan PETA DIGITAL LOKUS SEJARAH LAMPUNG diharapkan memiliki manfaat sebagai berikut: mendekatkan masyarakat kepada sejarah melalui informasi tentang lokus-lokus sejarah di Lampung, meningkatan kesadaran dan pemahaman akan pentingnya sejarah lokal Lampung berdasarkan lokus-lokus yang dikunjungi, mengenalkan lokus sejarah melalui peta digital berbasis android, dan meningkatkan kesadaran kepada generasi muda bahwa banyak khazanah sejarah di Lampung yang mesti diapresiasi dan dimaknai kembali.
