About this app

Chirp helps birders log and identify species, connect and share experiences and compete with a global community. It is designed to be both a competitive and social experience. If you’re a birder – beginner or obsessive, Chirp is made for you.

Compete with your fellow birders, locally and around the world with Chirp’s leaderboard and stats. Share your bird sighting locations - or if it is something special, keep it private or only share it with those you choose. Birding with friends? Tag them in your sightings to populate both of your records and show-off your latest lifers with the people who really care.

We also give back. The frequent tracking of bird life through citizen science is vital and Chirp makes it easy for users to export their lists so that they can be uploaded to important citizen science platforms such as eBird.

App Permissions

Allows applications to open network sockets.
