Hi, some feedback: (Moto 5G) 1. The app crashed and/or froze 3x causing a shutdown of the app. 2. When I try to cycle between "All", "Region" and "Following", the app freezes for almost a minute. 3. Some recommended follows are inactive for 2+ years. 4. I can't search for bird within more specific regions than 'Europe'. (E.g "Munich", "Sydney" or map.) I understood this was one of the aims of the app - to find birding locations nearby. I see iOS has it but not Android'. Am I missing something?

I've had Chirp for just a day so far and it's pretty cool! My initial thought is that this could be a great social network for birders with some updates and growth in the user base. At this stage it thrives on being a simplistic way to share birds you've seen. With limited users, everyone's posts show up in one feed. Again hopefully the user base will grow so this feature will lose its utility, but it is nice to see everything in one spot for now.

Very well made and easy to use app. Small and growing community of users is active and warm toward new members. I plan to keep using this app regularly, to connect with other birders around the world.

About this app

Chirp helps birders log and identify species, connect and share experiences and compete with a global community. It is designed to be both a competitive and social experience. If you’re a birder – beginner or obsessive, Chirp is made for you.

Compete with your fellow birders, locally and around the world with Chirp’s leaderboard and stats. Share your bird sighting locations - or if it is something special, keep it private or only share it with those you choose. Birding with friends? Tag them in your sightings to populate both of your records and show-off your latest lifers with the people who really care.

We also give back. The frequent tracking of bird life through citizen science is vital and Chirp makes it easy for users to export their lists so that they can be uploaded to important citizen science platforms such as eBird.
